To complement our regular training classes, we offer events to our students throughout the year. For example...

This term, Autumn 2017, we look forwrd to our regular Recital event and we are once again taking part in the Children in Need Tapathon in November! Class assessments due in October; Surbiton Christmas Lights Switch-On in November and lots of fun at regular classes... a busy term ahead!

Our regular full-scale theatre show, this year called, "A Sky Full of Stars", was held at Kingston Grammar School in June 2017. A great success, with two performances - congratulations to everyone involved!!

Spring 2017 big preparations were underway for our full Stage Show at KGS. Lots of costumes, rehearsal fun and hard-work!!

Christmas 2016
provided a great performance opportunity for our Musical Theatre students at 'Turn it on 'Surbiton' Christmas Lights event, even dancing along side Erin Boag!

October 2016
saw our students take part in the national Tapathon event to raise money for Children In Need 2016!

Spring 2016, Stage Right Studios Junior and Senior students performed to a sell-out audience at our regular Awards Presentation Recital at Surbiton Assembly Rooms. A great event to celebrate hard-work and assessment results from 2016!

In December 2015 our students excelled in yet more BBO Dance Exams - congratuations!

In July 2015 we hosted our 10th Anniversary show at Kingston Grammar School. Let's Face the Music and Dance. The show was a huge success and our students enjoyed a fabulous opportunity to perform to a great audience. Thank you to everyone!

Spring 2015
saw our regular dance exams with British Ballet Organisation and our new Modern Jazz dance exams with RSL... a first for the UK! A wonderful set of results - Well Done to everyone!

October 2014
saw our students celebrate their achievements in dance and drama with our Recital Demonstration & Awards Presentation held at Surbiton Assembly Rooms. Thank you to our new Patron, Paul Cameron, for presenting certificates to students of all ages. A wonderful chance for family and friends to see "a glimpse behind the studio doors". We look forward to our next performance!

In June 2014 we opening our brand new studio in Surbiton - new classes, new timetable and lots of exciting plans for the future... watch this space.

In Spring/ Summer 2014 our students took BBO Dance exams and assessments in Classical Ballet, Tap and Modern dance. A very confident performance by all  - with lots of certificates and badges for our students. Well done to everyone for their hard work!

In December 2013 we once again hosted our BBO examiner at the studios for ballet, tap and modern dance exams. 100% pass rate and wonderful comments received by all.

July 2013
saw Stage Right Studios full school cast performance, Once Upon a Song. A sell out performance featuring dance, drama and musical theatre students - Well done to all!!

March 2013, students took LAMDA speech and drama examinations at HQ in London. All Merit and Distinction grades achieved - well done to our younger and older students - including some brand new entries!

February 2013 - marks another BBO dance examination session at our studios. Excellent results and a wonderful set of reports - thank you for your hard work.

In April 2012, Stage Right Studios hosted an Awards & Recital Evening for dance, drama and singing students and their parents - we congratulate you all for your hard work!!

Winter 2011 provided yet another opportunity for our students to take Dance examinations with the BBO and LAMDA Speech & Drama exams too. Well done to all who took part!

Sunday 26th June 2011 - Stage Right Studios 5th Anniversary Celebration show, Turn The Beat Around - A COMPLETE SELL-OUT! Congratulations to all who were involved in making our show such a success. Thank you for all your hard work!

Early Spring 2011 saw our latest British Ballet Organization Dance examinations. 100% rate up-held with all students, in Ballet, Tap and Nursery dance gaining good reports. Certificates will be presented later in 2011.

In February 2011, Senior Ballet students were invited to take part in a charity dance demonstration at the Chelsea Town Hall.

Our Drama students were entered for the regular LAMDA London Public exam session. The session took place at the Hammersmith HQ on Sunday 16th January 2011.

We began our Autumn 2010 term with a new timetable and welcomed many new students. We announced our 5 year Anniversary show for Spring/Summer 2011.

Our 2009 Summer term concluded with another series of successful dance examinations with the British Ballet Organization. 100% pass rate was achieved, including high level pre-vocational examinations. Congratulations to all students for their preparation and hard-work - the exam day was enjoyed by all.

On Sunday 7th June 2009, we held our first Musical Theatre Workshop day. Students enjoyed a fun-packed day of dancing, singing and acting. Led by professional performers and coaches, the day was an excellent opportunity to build confidence in performance skills and group work. We look forward to offering many more day workshops in the future.

May 2009 saw Stage Right Studios, feature once again in the annual Kingston University dance charity evening. This year the evening was held at the Arena Centre, and included Senior Tap dance and a ballet solo performance. Many thanks to those who took part in this event.

Sunday 29th March 2009 - This highly successful evening saw our students perform in our second Showcase performance at the ACT (Kingston College theatre). This sell-out event enabled students to demonstate their dance and drama work to family and friends and be awarded their certificates from examinations by the Deputy Mayor of Kingston Upon Thames.

December 2008 saw Junior students performing for a Kingston community Christmas performance at the Guildhall. This event was co-ordinated by the Mayoral Chamber and our students performed dances themed around The Nutcracker.

In November 2008 Stage Right Studios' students successfully entered British Ballet Organization dance examinations, from Nursey level through to Adult. All dance styles achieved 100% pass rate!

July 2008 saw Junior students take part in the Summer Speech and Drama examination period at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. 100% pass rate achieved!

On May 18th 2008, a troupe of performers from Stage Right Studios and guest performers from Kent, took part in Sunday Night Live, at her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket in London’s West End. This was hosted by production company, Star EFX, and was another sell-out performance. Students performed three routines, Mary Poppins Medley, Footloose and Sweet Heaven with wonderful costumes by Christine Chetwynd. It was a great experience for students to perform at one of the best theatres in the country. An experience not to forget! Star EFX are highly regarded within the industry and have invited Stage Right Studios to join them again in the future.

Also in May 2008, students performed as part of Momentum Dance 2008, held at the Kingston College Theatre. This is a local dance event co-ordinated by Kingston University, and we hope to continue this relationship for future events. Stage Right Studios have already been invited to perform at this event in 2009. Watch this space!

British Ballet Organization: Dance Examinations - In February 2008, we held our second session of examinations held at the Arena Centre. Once again, we achieved a 100% pass rate. Well done to all involved! More examinations and performance award opportunities in the coming term.

London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art: Speech and Drama Examinations - During the Christmas holiday period of December 2007, both Junior and Senior drama students took part in their first LAMDA drama examination session at LAMDA Headquarters, based in Barons Court, Hammersmith. All students passed their examinations and look forward to their next examination session soon.

In July 2007, Stage Right Studio performed its first Showcase event together with a presentation evening for all Examination certificates. This was a huge success and a total sell-out. It is hoped to repeat this event in the coming year.
